ONLINE BINARY ACTIVITIES WITH FOREIGN TEACHER IZRAEL MOGIS

The Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages in the current academic year, specializing in magistracy, introduced the disciplines CLIL in teaching foreign languages, STEM in teaching foreign languages in the curriculum. These disciplines are taught by Ph.D., acting Professor Abdykhalykov A.M. together with a foreign teacher, a graduate of the Ethiopian University of Architecture, Construction and Urbanization Israel Beyene Mogis.

The basic principle of binary integrated learning with a foreign teacher is triple focus (teaching a subject, developing speech activity in English, developing learning skills), enriching the learning environment, authenticity of materials used, active learning and cooperation.

It can be noted that the activities of a foreign teacher Israel Beyene Mogis in the process of distance learning include:

- providing thematic (subject) information in English (oral assignment, conversation, video material, etc.);

- assisting Master students in the process of using the CLIL method;

- Organization of educational games on various topics of STEM education.

For a more in-depth study of these disciplines A. Abdykhalykova developed the online platform Padlet in the disciplines "CLIL in teaching foreign languages" https://padlet.com/lll_translation/lksggh9rejy4g6kg, "STEM in teaching foreign languages" https://padlet.com/lll_translation/z7w1vwe6b8v, where the materials (presentations, video lessons, books, scientific articles, useful sites, links for online training, simulators, tests, individual tasks, practical tasks, etc.) are placed.

Also an electronic book "Content and language integrated learning (CLIL) in foreign language teaching" was developed in collaboration with J.A. Beisembaeva, G.N. Dukembay.

Thus, to organize the educational process, various methods, teaching methods, means and forms of organizing educational activities are used, the choice of which depends on the goals and objectives of the lesson, the content of the studied thematic (subject) material and the level of subject and language training of master students.
