On December 27, teachers and students of the Foreign Languages Theory and Practice Department held a festive event dedicated to the upcoming 2019! The organizer of the event, senior lecturer N. Narmukhametova and student activists of specialty “5В011900 – Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” prepared a rich concert program, which included theatrical Christmas performances from 4th-year students, the new year songs from 2nd-year students and dances of New Year heroes from 3rd-year students. 
The audience was particularly interested in a short film made by students about the New Year’s miracle, where the main characters, students, fulfill their most cherished wishes in the new year. Bibigul Smagulova, a foreign student of the department, who arrived at ENU on academic mobility from Russia, also performed at this event with the song “Love has come”. All academic groups and their tutors actively supported the performers with stormy applause! The festival event ended with congratulatory words from the Department Head Zh. Beysembayeva and a joint photo of all teachers and students, and then students and their tutors! Once again we congratulate the large team and all students of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University on the upcoming New Year!
