Another Victory for Students - Russianists!

One of the traditional scientific competitions of university students is the Republican Subject Olympiad, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The students of the educational programs “Philology: Russian language”, “Russian language and Literature” that are trained by teachers of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics (Head of the Department - Zhuravleva E. A.) and the Department of Russian Philology (Head of the Department - Nurgali K. R.), annually take part in subject olympiads and consistently take prizes.

The Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty "Russian language and literature" in the current academic year was held online on the basis of M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University. 27 students of nine teams of higher education institutions of Kazakhstan participated in the olympiad: L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Nur-Sultan), Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University (Almaty), M.Kh. Dulaty Taraz Regional University (Taraz), M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University (Shymkent), Toraighyrov University (Pavlodar), Pavlodar State Pedagogical University (Pavlodar), Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University (Kokshetau), Shakarim University (Semey), M. Kozybayev North Kazakhsatn University (Petropavlovsk).

The team of the Philological Faculty of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University under the leadership of Associate Professor Tashimkhanova D. S. was effectively represented by students Nataliya Brauer (RYAL-32), Aidana Yelyubaeva (RF-42) and Victoriya Khokhlunova (RF-32).

 

As a result of a two-day intense competition, our students took the first prize in the team competition and received a Diploma of the first degree. In addition, in the creative competition, our team was awarded an honorary second place and a Diploma of the II degree.

In the individual championship, Nataliya Brauer was awarded an honorary second place, and Aidana Yelyubaeva was awarded a Diploma "For linguistic erudition".

 

The participation of our students in such scientific competitions is not just a way to demonstrate the high-quality knowledge they receive, but also an opportunity to realize their scientific and creative potential.

 

 

All team members were awarded certificates, and the team leader received a commendation for supporting the student olympic movement.
