On December 13, 2019, the Department of Kazakh Linguistics organized an event dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by Dean of the Faculty A.B. Beisenbay, Deputy Dean T. Gabdrakhman and Head of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics K.T. Malikov and teachers and students of specialties “5B020500 Philology: Kazakh language”, “5B011700 Kazakh language and literature”. During the event, poems of Kazakh poets were read, questions of a quiz were asked, intellectual games were played. Active students were awarded following the results of the events announced by N. Nazarbayev as "2019 - the year of youth."
