Within the framework of the Decade of Science, a scientific and methodological seminar on the topic "Teaching Russian as a foreign language" was held at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics.
Moderators of the seminar, PhD, Associate Professor Asmagambetova B.M. and PhD, senior lecturer Sharipova M.K. shared their experience of teaching the Russian language to foreign students, including repatriate students, told about the specifics and features of this work, the methods and techniques used.
Asmagambetova B.M. elaborated on the information about the use of textbooks in the Russian language for repatriates in the classroom, created by the author's team of the department in the process of working on the project under the guidance of Prof. Agmanova A.E.
Sharipova M.K. noted the difficulties encountered in learning the Russian language by repatriate students, listed their reasons.
The seminar ended with the moderators' answers to the questions posed by the participants of the seminar.
