On January 14, 2016, the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, announced March 1, the day of the founding of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, as the "Day of Gratitude" in the country. On this national holiday, Kazakhstanis show respect and gratitude to each other.
In honor of today's Day, a curatorial hour "to be grateful is our duty" was held with first-year students of the philological faculty of the specialty "Kazakh philology". Students told about the history of this holiday and read poems about our independence. They thanked the defenders of the Fatherland, doctors who have become heroes of today, firefighters, teachers working in the field of education, and many other professionals. The curator of the group G.B. Mamaeva warmly congratulated the students.
