This year, the work of Section 6.7 “Innovative Technologies in the Foreign Language Education System” of Section 6 “Actual Problems of Philology” of the annual International Conference “GYLYM JANE BILIM - 2020” L.N. Gumilyov ENU was held in a new format: participants went through online registration and submitted their scientific articles for consideration by the commission without oral reports. Its structure included Baigunisova G.I., doctor of philological sciences, associate professor (the chairman); members of the commission were Zhusupova R.F., candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, Dukembay G.N., candidate of philological sciences, associate professor and Anasheva D.K., senior teacher, coordinator of research work of students in the department of theory and practice of foreign languages. The commission had a difficult task, that is to consider 164 articles of participants from among the students of the educational program “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” and representatives of other universities (Suleiman Demirel University, Almaty). After long work and a detailed check, 146 articles were admitted for publication, 7 of which were recognized by the members of the commission as the best:
