Under the instruction of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the faculty of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU are holding active meetings with pupils of Astana schools with an explanatory lecture on the program of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Rukhani Jangyru”.
On February 23, 2018 (at 10.15) the Foreign Languages Theory and Practice Department in the person of the head Zh. Beisembayeva and lecturers S. Isayev, B. Alipbai, G. Yerik visited the Kazakh secondary school No. 40 named after the Kazakh scientist-archaeologist Alkey Margulan. The headmaster of the school Erbol Іslamuly paid special attention to this event, showed to the ENU lecturers Alkey Margulan’s museum located in the school premises and told about the main achievements of the school headed.
The 11 grade pupils were the major listeners of the “Rukhani Jangyru” lecture. They focused on the main directions of the program and explained the goals and objectives of the presidential project, namely how the Kazakhstani society can make a step into the future, how they can become an even more united nation as well as how we can educate strong and responsible young people. The lecturers discussed in detail the program “Digital Kazakhstan”, the trilingual program and the “Tugan Zher” program. In discussions with schoolchildren, the ENU teachers saw how well they are aware of the “Looking into the Future: Modernizing the Public Consciousness” program.
After the lecture the Head of the Foreign Languages Theory and Practice Department Zh. Beisembayeva conducted agitation work with the school-leavers who are in fact potential ENU students and gave them brochures with information on the philological faculty.
The conducted lecture “RUKHANI JANGYRU bagdarlamasy” allowed the teachers of the philological faculty and the administration of the Kazakh Secondary School No. 40 building plans for further cooperation in the field of employment and professional training.
