On November 12, 2020, a lecture-discussion was held on the documentary film "7 Facets of Independence". The online meeting was organized by the doctor of philological sciences, professor of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the philological faculty G.O. Syzdykova. to the celebration of the Day of the First President. The lecture was attended by 1st year doctoral students of the specialty "Kazakh language and literature" and "Kazakh philology".
The purpose of the lecture on the discussion of the documentary film "7 Facets of Independence" is the knowledge of own history, the assessment of independence, the preservation of peace, a confident look into the future, and an increase of patriotic feelings.
Excerpts from the film were shown at the lecture. A. Kurmanova, A. Raev, Zh. Suleimenov, M. Ermekbaev, D. Ospanov, B. Tagudretova, O. Abdirov, K. Kerimbayeva made reports on the topics: “One country, one fate", "Hour of trials", "Kazakhstan before independence", "Elbasy's idea of creating the EAEU", "The way of revival", "Nurly Zhol program", "Yelorda: history and prospects", "Leader's path".
A quiz was organized on the topic “Achievement of Independence”. Further, the students exchanged views on the language situation in Kazakhstan.
At the end of the lecture, the participants shared their impressions and opinions. Doctoral student of the specialty "Kazakh language and literature" S. Zhanzhigitov read an arnau dedicated to the independence of Kazakhstan. The meeting ended with a beautiful singing of doctoral student T. Gabdrakhman.
