On March 24, 2023, a curatorial hour was held for first-year students at the Faculty of Philology on the topic "Problems of interethnic harmony, tolerance and prevention of religious extremism." The curatorial hour was organized by the teacher of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages D.A. Kydyrbaeva. The purpose of the curatorial hour is to instill in students a sense of tolerance, a philosophical and critical attitude to the surrounding reality, to promote spiritual self-improvement and self-realization, to strengthen the sense of Kazakhstani patriotism. The students prepared presentations and had a discussion. Students were especially interested in textbooks and websites where you can get the right information about religion. This event is aimed at shaping public opinion aimed at creating an atmosphere of intolerance towards the manifestation of extremist ideology.
