On April 11th , 2019, in the framework of the Science Decade at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Philology Faculty, a round table “Experience and prospects of participation in International programs” was held (under the diretion of the head of the foreign languages department J. Sagimbayeva)
A specialist of the Center for International Programs Azat Kaymoldiyev made a presentation about opportunities of studying abroad during the round table meeting. He shared with the teachers of the foreign languages department the information about Bolashak programs, spoke about the innovations of the programs and the requirements for applicants. It should be noted that this topic was relevant and interesting to those who were present. The specialist was asked a large number of questions, a constructive and informative conversation took place.
Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Eurasian National University named after LN Gumilyov, Raisova Gulshat was also an honored guest of the round table. She told in more details about the “Erasmus +” program and academic mobility of teaching staff. Gulshat Davlyubaevna acquainted the faculty of the department with the application procedures, deadlines and funding of these programs.
During the round table, teachers of the foreign languages department shared their experience in internships and training in various foreign universities, in such countries as Germany, England, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, and Portugal.
Summing up the round table work, it can be noted that as a result of the discussion, young colleagues working for the first year had a genuine interest and desire to participate in such programs. And more experienced teachers received practical recommendations for participation in international programs.
