The seminar on the theme "Formation of Intolerance to Corruption in the Future Professional Services"

On the 25th of March 2021, teachers of Foreign Languages Department of the Faculty of Philology Sagimbaeva Zh. and Bakyt A. organized an educational seminar on the theme “Formation of Intolerance to Corruption in the Future Professional Services”. The first year graduate students majoring in “Nuclear Physics” conducted the presentation.

The purpose of the event is to emphasize that corruption is one of the most dangerous and negative social phenomena. To some extent, it restricts the free operation of economic laws, and it undermines the global reputation of the country. More importantly, the presentation also indicated the significance of improving the level and quality of legal literacy in the effective fight against corruption.

Students first explained the circumstances that may lead to corruption, and relative examples were provided for further understanding.       

Second, they introduced the important legislation of civil liabilities, and a video was showcased in order to have a deeper awareness. Finally, the presenter informed us specific strategies that we can use to avoid corruption, and some possible actions to take in case of corruption.

At the end of the presentation, students actively discussed and shared various views concerning the subject. The presentation was well organized, and students gained many insights.
