On April 23, 2021, in a distance learning format, a competition was held among 1st year undergraduates of the specialty "Foreign language: 2 foreign languages" of the group М019-20-02 in the discipline "Innovative methods of teaching foreign languages" on the studied topic "Digital Storytelling". The moderators were Dinara Zhangabylova and Zhazira Zhaksylykova under the guidance of the teacher Zhusupova Roza Flyurovna, assistant prof. ENU them. L.N. Gumilyov, candidate of pedagogical sciences, where the participants showed their creative videos on a free topic, according to the requirements developed in the heading, both knowledge of academic English and audio recording, selection of pictures, disclosure of the topic were taken into account. All undergraduates were divided into subgroups of three. In total, 6 projects were presented on cultural and cognitive-cognitive topics. Many children have the opportunity to once again show themselves and show their creative abilities. It was necessary to demonstrate original abilities and use of digital technologies, it is significant that each group tried in its own way and, of course, excellent! Almost all projects were interesting and prepared at a very high level.
