Kazakhstan is the abode of happiness

On October 25, 1990, a declaration on the sovereignty of Kazakhstan was adopted. It was the first step in the independence of the country. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev: “I propose to return the status of a national holiday to Republic Day. That is why we must celebrate Independence Day every year on the twenty-fifth of October as the main holiday of our country.”

The teachers of the Department of practical Kazakh language held an online cognitive and educational event dedicated to the Day of the Republic "Kazakhstan - the abode of happiness".

The hosts of the evening Zholdasov Aubakir and Nuridenova Zhanel congratulated the participants on the great holiday of our sovereign country and briefly touched on the significance and historical nature of the famous holiday.

In the first part of the educational event, an interview was shown with representatives of other nationalities studying at the Eurasian National University about the solidarity of Kazakhstan. 

 

In the next part, talented youth read poems about the country and the land, the Motherland, and unity. The audience applauded the students of the Ryal-12 group Zhumabek Aruzhan (K. Sarin "Independence"), Dildatay Aisha (F. Ongarsynova "Motherland"), the student of OPD-12 Valery Medvedov (K. Amanzholov "Motherland").

The final part of the evening was followed by the so-called competition "Who's witty?" All participants passionately competed to find the continuation of the popular poems and proverbs presented on the slide, and who is the author of the poems. In addition, the state symbols of independent Kazakhstan, images of Alash figures were shown, and students shared information about them.

At the end of the evening, E. Khasangaliyev’s song “Atameken” was sung and the professor of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language U. O. Asanova made a closing speech.
