The results of the International Competition of student creative works "Epoch", which was organized by the Tula State Pedagogical University named after L.N. Tolstoy (Tula, Russia), have been summed up. The contest was timed to coincide with the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture and was held in the period from April 25 to May 25 in three categories "Prose", "Poetic work", "Journalism".
The purpose of the competition is to identify talented young people from among students of Russian and foreign universities, increase interest in learning the Russian language, and expand international contacts.
In total, 52 works were submitted to the competition from students of higher educational institutions of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Serbia, China, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Palestine.
Kazakhstan was worthily represented at the competition by students of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU under the guidance of leading teachers of the department, Ph.D., assoc. prof. Zh.A. Jambayeva, Ph.D., Assoc. G.K. Ayupova, Ph.D., prof. E.A. Zhuravleva. These are Negmanova Diana (hand of J.A. Jambayeva), Amanbayeva Aigerim (hand of G.K. Ayupova), Bekmukhanova Asem (hand of G.K. Ayupova), Idrisov Almas (hand of G.K. Ayupova), Saduakasova Aidana (hand of G.K. Ayupova), Nusupkanova Dilnara (hand of G.K. Ayupova), Daniyar Riza (hand of G.K. Ayupova), Arayna Araykyzy (hand of G.K. Ayupova), Mamyrbekova Syrgalia (hand of E.A. Zhuravleva). Certificates were issued to students and their supervisors.
The results of the competition were announced at an online meeting on May 25, 2022, where the organizers and participants noted that the competition unites representatives of different countries and cultures, contributing to strengthening the position of the Russian language in the world.
According to the results of the competition in the category "Journalism", two of our students showed a high result: Amanbayeva Aigerim (G.K. Ayupova) took 2nd place, Negmanova Diana (J.A. Jambayeva) – 3rd place.
