On October 23, 2018, Astana branch "Nur Otan" party summed up the results of the contest "Best party organization" for 2018. About 370 glass root party organizations of Astana took part in the following contest. As a result, the work of the glass root party organization "Philologist" of branch "Nur" of "Nur Otan" party was appreciated and took the 2nd place.
Sholpan Zharkynbekova as the chairman of "Philologist" glass root party organization, members, representatives of the teaching staff of Faculty of Philology and active members of the Youth branch "Zhas Otan" strenuously and fruitfully implemented all the planned events.
During the year, "Philologist" glass root party organization organized a variety of activities in many areas of "Nur Otan" party. Different events were held on humanitarian, social, economic, patriotic and socio-political issues.
Explanatory work on the transition of the Kazakh alphabet to the Latin alphabet, discussion of the provisions, conversed in the article on spiritual revival, and other activities of the new format in the framework of various party projects became the important events which were highly appreciated by the contest commission.
