I International Scientific Conference of Young Researchers "Russian language in the Eurasian cultural space"

The 1st International Scientific Conference of Young Researchers "The Russian Language in the Eurasian Cultural Space", organized by Surgut State Pedagogical University (Russia), has been successfully completed.  The conference was co-organized by the Institute of Russian Studies at the University of Preshov (Slovakia), the Department of Slavic Languages at Matea Bela University (Slovakia) and the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of L.N.  Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Kazakhstan).

 Russia was represented at the conference by young scientists from Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, Tyumen, Omsk, Perm, Samara, Kaliningrad, etc., Kazakhstan - students from Nur-Sultan and Petropavlovsk, Slovakia - students from Preshov and Banskaya Bystritsa.

At the opening of the conference, the management representatives of the co-organizing universities made a welcoming speech.  On behalf of L.N.  Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the participants were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology Beysenbay A. B. 

ДThe reports at the plenary session were presented by Alexey Panchenko (SurSPU), Diana Zakherova (Preshov University), Saida Tynyshbek (ENU).  As noted by the conference participants, the speakers of the plenary session set a high bar for subsequent speakers, who presented their reports in six sections.

 The conference worked in four time zones.  64 out of 72 submitted reports were heard and discussed.  All the speeches aroused genuine interest from the audience.

 After the breakout sessions, expert groups from among scientific and pedagogical staff of the universities of the three states conducted an expert assessment of the reports and awarded the work of young scientists with diplomas of 1, 2 and 3 degrees.  The experts from ENU were prof.  Zhuravleva E.A., assoc. prof. Tashimkhanova D.S., assoc. prof.  Ayupova G.K.

On the second day, a solemn rewarding of the winners and prize-winners took place, a virtual tour of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra was organized.

The reports of our students were highly appreciated by the members of the international jury:
