Forum 2021 ‘Reimagining EFL Education in the post-COVID-19 era: Creating New Prospects for Learning’

The Kazakhstan Association of English Teachers (KazTEA) has successfully held an International Forum called Forum 2021 ‘Reimagining EFL Education in the post-COVID-19 era: Creating New Prospects for Learning’ in the city of Kyzylorda, on the basis of the Korkyt Ata University, within two days, November 5-6, 2021. It is noteworthy that this Forum was held in two formats, both online and open discussions in classrooms. Zhusupova Roza Flyurovna, Ph.D., Acting Professor of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Philology, L.N. Gumilyov ENU attended this Forum and, in addition, was the moderator of the Jigsaw session “KazTEA professionals”, dedicated to the problem of assessing the quality of CLIL, STEM textbooks. Also, she made a presentation in the Pecha Kucha format “Multimodal text in teaching foreign languages”. The forum was held in a very friendly and creative atmosphere. The participants noted the need for such international events and exchange of experience.
