The open day of the faculty took place on February 10, 2020 according to the annual plan. The main purpose of the event was career guidance and providing students with the information they need to choose an educational program; development of students' interest in educational programs taught at the Faculty of Philology.
The opening day of the faculty was opened by the dean of the faculty, Beisenbai AB, who provided graduates with comprehensive information about the faculty. The deputy head of the Center for Career Guidance and Testing at the University, Egeubaeva LB, commenting on changes in national testing for the current academic year, answered questions from graduates.
An open day was accompanied by an exhibition of career guidance events organized by each department every year, as well as informing applicants about educational programs. Grammar schools, secondary schools and lyceums No. 48, 60, 6, 3, 51, 22 of the city of Astana showed special interest in the educational programs of the faculty. On Open Day, not only students were invited, but also school teachers.
