The seminar "Writing a scientific article: Approbation of scientific reports for student scientific conferences"

On March 14 at 1.00 pm the seminar "Writing a scientific article: Approbation of scientific reports for student scientific conferences" was held for master's and undergraduate students. The speakers were associate professor of foreign languages department, candidate of pedagogical sciences Mukhtarkhanova A.M. and PhD doctor Balhimbekova P.Zh.

During the seminar, the speakers presented the main requirements for a scientific article and a scientific report, described the peculiarities of preparing and presenting a scientific paper at student scientific conferences.

Mukhtarkhanova A.M. discussed the principles of constructing a scientific report, showed various types of structures of a scientific article, including introduction, research methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion. The speaker provided recommendations on choosing a research topic and described the process of working on an article and preparing a report for a conference.

Balhimbekova P.Zh. emphasized the importance of properly preparing a scientific report, including choosing a research topic, collecting and analyzing data, as well as formatting a scientific article and presentation. She also advised all seminar participants to start preparing their scientific work in advance in order to have enough time for its development and error correction.

Additionally, a first-year student who participated in the conference shared her experience at the seminar. She talked about her impressions of participating in the conference, described the process of preparing and presenting a scientific report.

The student also emphasized the importance of confidence and perseverance in the process of presenting a scientific report, as this can affect the other participants’ reaction and overall impression of the work. She concluded her presentation by emphasizing that participating in scientific conferences is an excellent opportunity for students and master's students to demonstrate their scientific research, receive feedback from professionals, and exchange experience with colleagues from other universities and countries.

 

In conclusion, the seminar participants were able to ask questions to the speakers and discuss their own projects and ideas for future scientific work. The seminar was very practical and useful for students and master's students who plan to participate in scientific conferences and write scientific articles.
