What is your student life associated with? Most likely, many will say with the vibrant life of the hostel, gatherings with friends. This is doubly interesting if you live in a dormitory for international students. Here you can meet students from all over the world. On November 14, 2019, the Welcome Center hosted the event “Bringing cultures together”. The purpose of the event was to acquaint foreign students with the peculiarities of Kazakh culture, talk about intercultural communication and introduce foreign students of the Faculty of Philology to each other. The organizers were employees of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages G. Gaurieva and Baltynova A.Sh. Associate Professor G. Gaurieva made a presentation and had an interesting conversation with students. Students of the Faculty of Philology from South Korea, China and Kyrgyzstan came to the meeting.
