Anti-corruption culture in the Republic of Kazakhstan

On 06.03.2019, an educational event on the topic “Anti-corruption culture in the Republic of Kazakhstan” was held at the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages in the groups ShT 25 and ShT 27.The event was organized under the leadership of the head of the chair, associate professor Beisembayeva Zh.A. and teachers of the department, associate professor Nurzhanova Zh.D. and associate professor Dukembay G.N.

A welcoming speech was made by the head of the department of theory and history of state and law, constitutional law of L.N. Gumilyov ENU Khairmukhanmedov Nurbek Isabaevich, giving a description of the current state of anti-corruption policy of the countries of the world.As examples were given such countries as Singapore, Korea, Japan with the lowest rate of corruption.

The presentation “Anti-corruption culture in the Republic of Kazakhstan” was made by Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor Zhumanova Mayra Khalelkyzy.In her presentation Zhumanova M.Kh. presented information on the state of anti-corruption policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, focusing on the fact that corruption is a problem that is relevant for both developed countries and countries with lower levels of economic development.During the event, information was provided on the progress of the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2025.Students were active during the event, asking questions about ongoing anti-corruption activities at the university, city and country.
