On March 6, 2019 the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University was celebrating a festive concert dedicated to the International Women’s Day – March 8. Among the song performances from representatives of the university and the Presidential Orchestra, the university teachers were awarded with honorary certificates for their achievements in professional development and their personal contribution to the development of ENU and the society.
One of the women-teachers to be awarded by the university rector was the senior lecturer of the Foreign Languages Theory and Practice Department of the Faculty of Philology, M.A. Lira Ilyasova.
Lira Ilyasova has been working at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU since September 2009 as an English teacher. During her work at the university, she has established herself as a responsible, conscientious and demanding teacher. In the current academic year, she is tutor of the 1-st year group FL-12 as well as in charge of the information published about the department and its members in the media and on information boards. Lira Ilyasova always uses a creative approach, both in class and educational work, and inculcates love for art and creativity in her students.
Lira Ilyasova is a mother of four young children, an excellent housewife and a worthy and sought-after teacher.
