On the 28th of September a webinar on the topic “Sherkhan is a symbol of Truth” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Sherkhan Murtaza was organized by the senior tutor of the Department of "Kazakh Linguistics", Faculty of Philology G.B. Mamaeva.
The opening speech was given to the dean of the Faculty of Philology A.B. Beisenbay. The webinar participants made presentations on the life and work of Sherkhan Murtaza. A review was also made of the scientific works of researchers of the writer's work. Doctor of Philology, Professor S.B Zhumagulov spoke about good deeds, about the life and work of Sherkhan Murtaza.
A 3rd year student of the specialty "Kazakh language and literature" Koken Nurai made an analysis of the novel "Ay men Aisha", "Kyzyl Zhebe" consisting of 5 books of the national writer.
All students of educational programs "Kazakh language and literature", "Philology: Kazakh language" participated in the webinar. Poems dedicated to the writer were read, and Esbolat Shalkar performed a song on dombra dedicated to the memory of Sherkhan Murtaza. Guests and participants of the webinar, Dean of the Faculty of Philology A.B. Beisenbay, Professor S.B. Zhumagulov, S.S. Shokabaeva wished that memorable meetings dedicated to great personalities were held more often. And also the participants of the webinar dedicated their reports to the great writers as Mukhtar Auezov and Orahan Bokeykhan who were born on this very day.
