On May 30, 2023 within School of pedagogical skill under the leadership of the doctor of PhD Sagynadin Gulnaz Sagynadinkyzy, took place a workshop on " Preparation and publication of a scientific article in peer-reviewed journals”. A workshop was presented by PhD, associate professor of the Foreign Philology Department, Akzhigitova Assel Sheraliyevna.
Akzhigitova A.Sh. briefly introduced the specifics of writing a scientific article, and also dwelled in detail on the important stages of preparation for publication in the international peer-reviewed journals. The main characteristics of the most popular scientometric databases were revealed, special attention was focused on Scopus and Web of Science. The workshop had a debatable nature in the form of a round table, where participants could share their experience in writing articles, as well as ask questions on this topic.
The workshop aroused keen interest among teachers and students of the Faculty of Philology. Professor Duisekova K.K., Professor Nurtazina M.B., the teachers of Foreign Philology, Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Kazakh Literature, Foreign Languages Departments and the PhD students noted the relevance of the discussed topic and its practical significance.
