«Kazakhstan is my homeland»

November 12, 2018, in anticipation of the celebration of the Day of Independence, Assistant Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics Batima M. Asmagambetova held with the repatriate students, the Russian language wedding  event on the theme «Kazakhstan is my homeland».

It is noteworthy that the students showed particular activity: themselves prepared the scenario (Sholpan Mukhtarkhan), brought musical instruments. After singing the hymn and  speech of the teacher, poems about the homeland were read in Russian and Kazakh (Zeyin Shalkar, Zhandos Umaraliev, Aisymbat Kusaiynbek), dombra songs were performed (Arystan Baizhuma, Yerasyl Baimentaev, Medeuova  Aydin), sounded kui (Ayagoz  Meleikhan,  Riza Nurman).

The Students  were excited, talked about the beauty and open steppes of Kazakhstan, about his beautiful future, about the love of country.  Student of Journalistic Faculty Yerasyl Baymentaev performed his songs dedicated to the December events.

The presenters completed the event  with the words: «Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country».
