7-8 December, 2018, the IV international scientific-practical conference «Bi ‒, poly ‒, translingualism and language education» took place at the People’s Friendship University of Russia (Moscow). The conference was held under the auspices of MAPRYAL.
Co-organizers:
‒ faculty of Philology and world languages of the Kazakh national University named after al-Farabi (Almaty, Kazakhstan);
- philological faculty of the Eurasian national University named after
L. N. Gumilev (Astana, Kazakhstan);
- faculty of Philology of the Vitebsk state University named after P. M. Masherov (Vitebsk, Belarus).
Organizers and ideological inspirers of the conference were the Head of the Department of Russian language and intercultural communication, Professor, Doctor of Philology V. P. Siniachkin and Professor, Doctor of Philology U. M. Bakhtikereeva.
Professor U. M. Bakhtikereeva cooperates for many years with universities of Kazakhstan, including ENU, expanding from year to year in the orbit of collaboration not only of scientists but also of teachers of secondary schools.
The features of the conference are the scale of scientific problems, the body of participants, the geography of scientific schools. The conference brought scientists together from many countries: Belarus, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Mongolia, India, Hong Kong. Kazakhstan was widely represented among the participants of the conference: by scientists of KIMEP, al-Farabi KazNU, ENU named after L N. Gumilev.
The conference discussed issues related to the contribution of names and schools in the field of teaching Russian language and literature.
The work of the sections was aimed at discussing the following issues: Russian language in Russia and multiethnic society of near and far abroad, teaching Russian language and literature to migrant children, problems in the practice of teaching Russian language and literature in schools of the Russian Federation, near and far abroad, theory and methods of teaching Russian language and Russian literature in high school in the conditions of digital and socio-cultural communication, professional development of teachers of Russian language and literature, training of teachers of Russian language and literature to work with bilingual children.
Reports of ENU named after L.N. Gumilev were presented by Dean of the Philology faculty – Zharkynbekova Sh. K. (Formation of professional multilingual competence in the conditions of modern educational reforms); teacher of the Department of Russian Philology, Master of Philology Kuandykova Zh. (Communicative identity and the role of the school rhetoric for academic model).
It should be noted the section «Training of teachers of Russian language and literature to work with bilingual children». Author methods Department of Russian language and intercultural communication: Russian language study with mom in the family and home; images of language consciousness on the basis of psycholinguistic research Institute of linguistics of Russian Academy of Sciences. ‒ associate Professor, Candidate of Philology V. V. Dronov, Professor, Doctor of Philology V. P. Siniachkin, their textbooks are popular all over the world.
In the same section, Professor of the Department of Russian Philology Urazaeva K. presented the report co-authored with Professor of the al-Farabi KazNU, Doctor of Philology, Vice-President of MAPRYAL Suleimenova E. D. (in the Formation of speech and rhetorical competence of a secondary school student). K. B. Urazaeva was one of the heads of aforementioned section.
