A holiday concert titled "El tіregі - Elbasy" was held on the Day of the First President in a capital's theatre "Astana Opera". Teachers of the Russian Philology Department of ENU named after L.N.Gumilyov, Candidate of Philology Tusupova A.K. and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Maybalaeva A.A. along with second-year students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences organized a joint tour to the theatre, so as not to miss the event.
The concert program included performances of leading theatre artists. Students saw key fragments of the best works of world and national classics. Honored artists of Kazakhstan Zhanat Shybikbayev, Saltanat Akhmetova and other opera stars performed arias from operas "Birzhan - Sarah", "Abay", "Carmen", "Kamarsulu", "Semiramis". On the stage of the theater there were choreographic and ballet performances, that is excerpts from the ballets "La Bayadere", "Don Quixote" by L. Minkus, "Sleeping Beauty" by P. Tchaikovsky etc. The audience burst into applause when the prima donna of the opera Maira Mukhammedkyzy came on stage. Concert numbers alternated with video clips from films about the life and activity of the First President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev. The whole evening the background music of the concert was provided by the Symphony Orchestra under the direction of the director, the Honored Artist of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdinov.
The students got a great aesthetic pleasure and a lot of impressions from the concert. Many of the students have for the first time visited Astana Opera theatre. The head of the group Gg-23 Satkarova Nuriya has shared her impressions: «The first day of the winter was a great experience for us. Today, we have an opportunity to visit the famous Astana Opera theatre, where we were thrilled to be in the heart of the capital. The spectacular voice of musicians who breathed freely on the stage, silver balloons, best ballet performances, the world classic parade, the magnificent theatre scene were an interesting world for us! I want to thank those who have invited us to the evening. The concert "El tіregі - Elbasy", dedicated to the Day of the First President, was held at a high level. I hope that guests of the event had a good rest! ».
According to the words of the head of the group Eg-21 Meldeul Dinara, "it was very informative. I am glad that I have visited this unusually beautiful place. I was very glad to see the art of my nation. It is on a par with the best works of theatrical art of world classics!"
Visiting along with students of theatres, museums and cultural events is one of the forms of moral building work of university teachers, that contributes to the realization of goals of patriotic and aesthetic education. Teachers of the Russian Philology Department pay great attention to these forms of education of students.
