On November 25, 2020 at the Department of Kazakh Linguistics at the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov within the framework of pedagogical practice, 2nd year undergraduates of the specialty "7M01717 - Kazakh language and literature" A.K. Orynbaeva and N.E.Bazarbayeva, under the guidance of senior teacher K.K.Shaimerdenova, held an educational open curatorial hour on the topic "A. Baitursynov - the great teacher of the nation" for 3rd year students of the specialties "Philology: Kazakh language" and "Kazakh language and literature". The purpose of the curatorial hour was to update and expand knowledge about the leader of the national liberation movement A. Baitursynov. Students Eralykyzy A., Asilkhanova A., Satybaldy A., Sailaubai A., Zhanmurat A., Khairulina D., Kurmanbekuly K. and others made reports on the topic "Scientific life of Akhmet Baitursynov", "A. Baitursynov's path to of the Kazakh language and the fight against illiteracy "," Aphorisms of Akhmet Baitursynov ", as well as young poets from the group FKT-33 Seisenbekova Ayazhan and Bekmukhanbetov Ali read their poems dedicated to A. Baitursynov. K. Shaimerdenova, thanking the organizers of the educational hour and active students, noted that the life of Akhmet Baitursynov, who created the Kazakh alphabet for the future people, served the interests of the nation, became a role model for all Kazakhs.
