On December 3, 2020 year, at 17.00 pm, a virtual concert was held on the You tube channel, dedicated to the 1st-year students of the faculty of Philology
With an opening speech of the evening was opened by the rector of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian national university, academician Sydykov Y.B. He highlighted the fact that being a student of the L.N.Gumilyov ENU is an honor and responsibility, and briefly focused on the prospects provided by the university, educational programs, conducting interdisciplinary innovative research under the guidance of the best scholars, participation in large-scale youth projects, student clubs and international Olympiads.
The rector also noted that we are looking forward to the 1st year students at the University, and expressed the hope that our first-year students will not only witness the celebration of the 25th anniversary of our University, but also take an active part in holding and organizing this event in a difficult period for the whole world.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, academic Yerkin Ongarbayev also congratulated the student community. He noted that student life is one of the best periods in a person's life, when you meet new people, get new knowledge, and many other meaningful events take place. He also noted that ENU is one of the best universities in the country, which is included in various world and national rankings, and ranks 357th in the international QS rating
Vice-Rector for Welfare Development, Dikhan Kamzabekuly, wished the first-year students success and achievement of their learning goals. He noted that students are the founders of Kazakhstan, future intellectuals, which gives them the opportunity to show themselves and be competitive.
The Dean of the faculty, Beisenbay A.B, told about the activities of the faculty, in particular about the educational programs offered by the departments of the faculty, about the prospects of the faculty, student clubs and associations.
The head of the department of TV and radio and public relations, Duysengazy S.M. congratulated the students of the faculty of Philology, wishing them to be active, read a lot, participate in various events, thereby continuing the wonderful traditions of one of the most prestigious universities in the country
Students of the faculty of Philology virtually visited all the buildings of the L. N. Gumilyov ENU, the Dean's office of the faculty of Philology, and got acquainted with the departments of the building # 5.
The virtual concert dedicated to the first year students of the faculty of Philology was organized by our students who take part in various international and national competitions, festivals, and online events: Gabrakhman T (PhD student), Kamila Esmagambetova, 3rd year, Beisembekov Gulfarea, 3rd year, Tomasikova Nazerke, 4th year, Bolatbek Merti, 2nd year, Kenbai of Gulbarshyn, 4th year, Utepova Anel, 4th year, Janarbek Lashyn, 3rd year, and the head of the youth center of philological faculty, Muzarapov B, 3rd year.
