Internship at Sopron University in Hungary in the Framework of the Erasmus + Project

In the framework of the Erasmus + project “Improving the integration of higher education and corporate sectors in accordance with the new social environment — ENINEDU 574060-EPP-1-2016-KZ-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP”, Head of Career and Business Partnership Aldasheva L. S. and the Chair of the Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages Department ​​Beisembayeva Zh. A. are taking a refresher course at the University of Sopron, Hungary, from 01 to 14 October 2018. 

 The overall objective of the project is to expand cooperation between business and higher education in the consortium countries by changing the educational paradigm in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna process. Improving such cooperation will lead to a gradual increase in the effectiveness of the national development strategy, as well as a change in the situation with graduates in the field of entrepreneurship. The project participants are European universities (University of Santiago Compostela, Spain, Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece, University of Nice - Sophia Antipolis, France, University of Sopron, Hungary), Universities of Russian Federation (Russian University of Peoples' Friendship, Samara State Economic University, Orel State University named after I. S. Turgenev) and the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ENU named after L. N. Gumilyov, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University). 

 The purpose of the training is to research and identify the forms of cooperation between universities and companies, as well as mechanisms for their implementation in European partner countries, drawing up and introducing a new system standard of cooperation between universities and employers and creating new practice-oriented teaching and learning opportunities. The first days of training were held in businesses: project participants are such large international industrial enterprises as IKEA Industry, ROTO Concert and Aldi Budapest. 

    Moreover, the participants of the training took part in discussions with students of the Economics Faculty of the University of Sopron and employers of recruitment companies. During the discussions, the Hungarian employers gave 2nd and 3rd year students instructions and recommendations on practical work experience, on employment during their studies and after completing their studies at the university.
