I Competition of Pedagogical skills of young teachers of the Faculty of Philology

The competition of this format and subject is held for the first time in the university, in particular at the faculty level. The competitive event was held in an online format on the MS platform in accordance with the annual plan of the School of Pedagogical Excellence of the Faculty of Philology.

The purpose of the competition: to stimulate talented young teaching staff of the Faculty of Philology, to promote and popularize new knowledge and technologies.

The objectives of the competition:

* Stimulating young teachers to study, increasing motivation;

* Identification of talented young faculty teachers through competitive selection;

* Creation of a platform for the exchange of pedagogical experience and the exchange of experience in the use of modern effective teaching methods in higher education;

* Identification and dissemination of innovative and promising technologies in the organizational and methodological activities of young teachers;

* Carrying out activities to support and stimulate young talented faculty teachers by the School of Pedagogical Excellence;

* Improving the social status and prestige of teaching staff;

* Assistance in improving professional skills and realizing the personal and creative potential of teachers.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology Beisenbai Ardak Bakhytovich, who thanked the participants of the competition and wished them good luck.

Chairman of the School of Pedagogical excellence FF Gulnaz Saginadinovna was the moderator of the competitive process and, as a moderator, focused on the main goals and objectives of the organization of the pedagogical excellence competition.

The competition was attended by young teachers of the existing departments of the Faculty of Philology under the age of 40. The participants prepared a report, presented the defense of educational and methodological projects, including: author's course / technology / pedagogical innovation / author's online course / individual digital educational project, including distance learning technologies, as well as experience in using virtual reality and artificial intelligence.

The competition commission was approved and presented in the following composition:

Syzdykova G.O. - Professor of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics (Chairman of the Commission);

Kasymbekova N.S. - Deputy Dean for Research Work of the Faculty of Philology;

Akisheva A.K. - responsible for the educational and methodological work of the Faculty of Philology;

Sagyndin G.S. - Chairman of the School of Pedagogical Excellence of the Faculty of Philology;

Avazbakieva F.R. - Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Practice of a Foreign language.

 

 The competition commission evaluated the protection of the participants' performances based on the criteria approved by the organizing committee of the competition. As a result of the discussions, the following decision was made:

I place - Almas Amirbekovich Myrzakhmetov, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Literature. Topic: "Kashyktan okytu technologiyasyndags PDF formattags electronic okulyk".

II place - Loginova Maria Valeryevna, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), senior senior lecturer of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics. Topic: "Beyond the boilerplate."

III place - Nurlybai Aisha Mamyrkhanovna, Master, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Language, Zhandildinova Arailym Myrzakhanovna, teacher of the Department of Foreign Language. Topic: "Innovatiyalyk bilim platformalaryn koldanu tasilderi".

The third place is Olesya Sergeevna Potapchuk, Master of Russian Language and Literature, senior lecturer of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics. Topic: "Innovative teaching methods and digital tools in teaching Russian as a non-native language".

The reports of the contestants were heard by the teaching staff of the faculty, heads of departments, members of the School of Pedagogical Excellence, doctoral students and undergraduates, who expressed gratitude and wishes. It should be noted that this event became not only a competitive format, but also an active platform for the exchange of views of teachers of all generations, and young teachers shared their innovative ideas and experience.

New suggestions and recommendations were made by the participants and listeners, modern pedagogical skills and innovative principles were discussed. All those present expressed their common opinion and wish that this competition would become a traditional annual event and be held already at the university level.
