The 1st May – a holiday of well-being, unity and integrity

On April 28, 2022, teachers of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language of the Faculty of Philology U. Assanova, B. Abduova, A. Adilbek, A. Magzumbekov organized a festive event on the Microsoft Teams platform  «May 1 - a holiday of well-being, unity and integrity».

The 1st May  is one of the biggest holidays in all regions of the country for the people of Kazakhstan. The goal is to promote peace, unity, common values ​​of different nationalities and religions in the country. This holiday occupies a special place for the country, which is based on the principle «Unity and happiness are one».

The purpose of the event is to explain to students that the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the first countries in the world that has become a second home for representatives of other nationalities. To teach to respect foreign culture and take an example from other peoples living in our country, education for patriotism, love for the motherland, land and respect for the people.

The event was attended by teachers of the department and 1st year students of the Faculty of Philology Russian language and literature-12, Faculty of Transport and Energy MET-12, Organization of transportation and traffic-12, Standardization and certification-12 and Faculty of Information Technology INF-12, INF.SYST-12, AI Technology-12.

The hosts of the event, M. Sarsenbay and Y. Turabekova, emphasizing that our country is prospering and moving forward thanks to the friendship of peoples, sincerely congratulated everyone on 1st May  - the Day of Solidarity and Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan.

During the event, students of the Russian language and literature-12 A group.Turganbek, K.Skiba, A.Mukangalieva, Y.Adamovich read poems about the friendship of peoples, a student of the OPD-12 group B.Kamilvaev and the MET-12  group Zh.Sisenov noted that representatives of different nations live in peace and harmony under our blue flag, and that everyone respects each other by calling the Kazakh land as «Homeland». The students exchanged views on the information presented in the video. We took part in a specially prepared game «Who is smarter?».

At the end of the event, Professor of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language Assanova U. and senior teacher Magzumbekova A. thanked the students who took part in this celebration. They noted that all the participants who took part in the game, read poems in the Kazakh language and expressed sincere love for the country, treat the state language with special respect and strive to achieve great success in their studies. Abduova B. thanked the organizers and students of the event and concluded: «I believe that today's event is evidence of our respect, dignity and friendliness towards other nationalities living in Kazakhstan».
