Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Russian Philology Department of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Astana, Kazakhstan.
        An author of books: Some features of modern literature (Almaty 1996); Poetics of A. Alimzhanov’s prose (Almaty 1997); a monograph The concept of a man and history in prose (Astana 2004); a monograph Zaki Akhmetov is a theorist of Kazakh literature (Astana 2007); a monograph Transformation of artistry in the aspect of contemporary comparativistics (Astana 2007); Nikolai Rovensky: critic, theorist of literature (Astana 2012); Artist's style as a mirror of an era: Vasily Belov and Boris Vasilyev (Astana 2016); and editor (with V.P. Sinyachkin) of a collective monograph Questions of Russian philology and methodology of teaching Russian language and literature (Moscow 2014).
    Kadisha Nurgali has published more than 150 scientific articles in Russian and English languages in Kazakhstan and abroad, including publications in rating scientific editions (with impact factor). Scientific interests: the history of Russian literature of the XX century, comparativistics, Kazakh literature.

A member of the editorial board of journals: "Slavistics" (Georgia, Kutaisi), "Russian language and literature in Azerbaijan" (Azerbaijan, Baku), "Keruen" (a journal of the M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, Almaty).
A head of the project «Тәуелсіздік мұраттарын қалыптастырудағы қазіргі қазақ драматургиясының эстетикалық-әлеуметтік функциясы» (2010, 2011); a participant of several scientific projects of international and republican level.
K.R. Nurgali has trained 7 candidates of sciences in specialties 10.01.07 - Comparative Literature and 10.01.02 - Kazakh Literature, 2 PhDs in Philology, and conducts training for doctoral and master students in specialties "Philology: Russian Philology" and "Literary Studies".
She has taken part in conferences, symposia, congresses, seminars in France, Japan, Korea, USA, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Greece, Turkey, China, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Great Britain.
She has passed scientific internships at the University of Pecs (Hungary, Pecs, 2007), at the University Paris-X (France, Paris, 2011, 2016), in the Netherlands (Rotterdam, Maastrich, 2015). She has given lectures "Modern literary process in Kazakhstan" at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Masaryk University in Brno (Czech Republic, 2012), and "Modern Literature of Kazakhstan" at the Sh.Rustaveli Institute of Literature in Tbilisi (Georgia, 2013). She is an organizer of the first International Symposium "Integrative Functions of Contemporary Comparative Studies"; the third International Shevchenko Readings "Shevchenko is a symbol of spiritual connection of the Ukrainian and Kazakh peoples", and the first International Student Conference "New Challenges - New Solutions: the View of Young Scientists"; the XIX International Conference "Russian Studies and Modernity" (Astana, 2016); a workshop at the university New Sorbonne - Paris-3 (France, Paris 2016). An organizer of the first International Literature Olympiad in cooperation with the Moscow Pedagogical State University (Russia, Moscow) in 2017.
