The teaching staff from Foreign languages Department of the Faculty of Philology pays great attention to updating educational literature and closely cooperates with foreign publishing houses. There is a large library fund, which is used in the study of the language and in the development of an educational and methodological complex for the disciplines "Foreign language", "Professional-oriented foreign language" "Foreign language (professional)" "Practice of scientific and technical translation", "Practice of oral and written speech".
In order to get acquainted with the latest materials of the teaching staff, the departments annually get acquainted with the book catalogs of leading companies that are the largest suppliers of educational literature in foreign languages of such well-known publishers as Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Macmillan, Pearson, Garnet, Collins ELT, Hachette, Hueber , Langenscheidt, Berlitz…
The teaching staff of Foreign languages Department teaches students and undergraduates of the philological, physical and technical, architectural and construction, economic, mechanical and mathematical, transport and energy, information technology, natural sciences faculties.
The teaching staff of Foreign languages Department pays great attention to updating educational literature and closely cooperates with foreign publishing houses. Over the past 5 years, the fund of the department has replenished with monographs, textbooks, methodological developments, dictionaries published by the leading teachers of the department.
From 2018-2022, 5 teaching aids, 3 dictionaries, 6 monographs were published, which are actively used in the educational process.
The developed teaching aids are aimed primarily at undergraduate and graduate students studying in various specialties who will use English in a scientific or engineering environment.

The use and improvement of teching and laboratory equipment at the Department of Foreign Languages has been improving every year. Updating of technical equipment at the department is a positive contribution to the educational process. The number of facilities at the department: 15 computers, 6 printers, 1 xerox, 2 scaners, 1 laptops, 2 projectors, 9 processors, 1 interactive whiteboard, 2 TV sets, 2 telephones. In the methodical auditorium No.326 of the department (ULK) there is a smart board, a projector, geographical maps and methodological applications. Additional materials for the lesson are placed in the classroom.
