The quality of educational programs determines the results of the rating carried out at the national level by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) and the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for the Quality of Education (IQAA).

The results of such ratings of educational programs testify to their competitiveness at the republican level and confirm their high quality.
Bachelor students 6В01717- "Kazakh language and literature", 6В02305 - "Philology: Kazakh language" participate in the stand-alone external assessment of knowledge. Over the past 3 years, students have been at the forefront of the results list of the EEEA in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which characterizes the high level of teaching.
The department of Kazakh linguistics took 9th place out of 68 departments, and 5 place among 32 humanitarian departments, typing 588.265 points on the ratings of the departments of the university.
The students of the specialty 6В02305 - "Philology: Kazakh language" took the third place on the republican subject Olympiad in 2014-2015, 2015-2016, and in 2016-2017 took the first place.
If 6B01717- "Kazakh language and literature" in 2014-2015, 2015-2016 academic years, took the third place on the republican subject Olympiad, then in 2016-2017 academic year it took the second place.
And according to the purposes of educational programs, scientific associations of students work at the department.
At the department there is a scientific circle of students "Linguists of the XXI Century" Leader: Associate Professor Zh.K.Omіrbekova.
Members of the circle participate in republican, international scientific and practical conferences, scientific seminars organized by the department, they make presentations.
For example, the scientific project " Қырымның қырық батыры жырының лексикалық қабаты" following the results of the Republican contest of NIRS, which took place on the basis of KAZNPU named after Abai took the second place (Project executors: 3rd year students: Abdirov, supervisor - PhD doctor, associate professor K.Kenzhalin).
For 2019, the share of teaching staff participating in funded fundamental and applied and educational projects is 53% of the total.
In 2020, Sarseke Gulnar Adebietkyzy participated in the competition and became a visiting scholar, specialist in linguistics at the University of Maryland (USA).
The department submitted 3 applications for participation in the competition for grant funding of scientific and (or) scientific and technical projects. 2 applications for the competition for 2020-2022 (27 months):
1. Historical dictionary of the Kazakh language (Scientific adviser: Kenzhalin K.K.);
2. Expansion of the information and cultural space of the state language in a multilingual environment. (Supervisor: Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Sarekenova K.K.);
3. 1 application for the competition for 2021-2023: New directions of Kazakh lexicography: theoretical and practical problems of compiling modern multilingual dictionaries (Supervisor: Doctor of Philology, Professor G. Sagidolda).
