Several events dedicated to the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Kazakhstan were held at the Faculty of Philology between September 5 and 18. The Department of practical Kazakh language also took part in this event organizing various competitions and debates.
On 14.09.2018, the Department of Practical Kazakh Language organized a Dictation writing Competition within the framework of the week of languages .The dictation was attended by 28 students from each faculty «Family happiness» theme was presented.

Along with other events, on September 17 of 2018 the Department of Practical Kazakh Language conducted a round table called «Knowledge is Light». Students from the faculties of History, Transport and Energy, Architecture and Construction took part in the event and exchanged opinions on the topic. The round table focused on language issues. The students discussed different aspects and qualities of being a polyglot, and expressively recited the poems in Kazakh.
On September 18, 2018 the results of the Festival of languages were summed up: active participants and winners were awarded. The concert ended the event following the words of gratitude of Professor Kulmanov K.S. to the students and organizers-teachers.
