Behind the line of President Nursultan Nazarbayev's Address

Department of Foreign Philology at its meeting on January 15 this year discussed the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan dated January 10, 2018 "New opportunities for development in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution".

With a detailed analytical report the senior lecturer G. Spiglazov spoke to colleagues. She elaborated on all the key provisions of the text of the Фввкуыы. The tasks put forward by the President of the country on further modernization of Kazakhstan's society were highlighted. A special emphasis was made by the speaker on the seventh task, dedicated to human capital as a basis for modernizing society. The President emphasized the quality of education with the most important accents in this direction, which should be transferred to innovative rails and a large-scale introduction of information technologies. 

Colleagues, carefully listening to the speech Spiglazova GI, began to discuss. The debate was made by Professor Bulatbaeva K.N., who noted the importance of social programs for teachers of preschool and secondary school education. 

 

Senior teacher Kazbekova M.K. stressed the importance of increasing the provision of housing per person 30 square meters to 2030. Senior teacher Kulaeva S.K. talked about the growth of wages for teachers. We train foreign language teachers, when forming a contingent, the fact of high payment for teaching work is a reliable incentive for choosing a future profession. Associate Professor Anafinova M.L. as a  linguist drew attention to the President's remark on the unreasonable transfer to the Kazakh language of international terms and concepts. It is impossible to translate established words and expressions, it is necessary to strive for standardization of terminology. In her speech, the young colleague Almahova G.O. once again confirmed that in the Address the President touched on vital issues and pointed out the ways to resolve them. Professor A.E. Bizhkenova, chairperson of the meeting, summed up the results and proposed to study the text of the Message, discuss it with students and outline a specific work plan for the department in the light of accomplishing the tasks set for Kazakhstan's higher education.
