Language is the greatest creation of man. It would be difficult to imagine what would have happened if the language had disappeared. The word is the most perfect means of communication. Meeting with a worthy interlocutor, a heart-to-heart talk, finding a common language, a good clever word has always been valued in the culture of any people striving for development. A child that babbles a new word after his mother, a student who folds letters into syllables, a student zealously comprehending foreign languages - without this it is difficult to imagine our life.
The unity of languages and cultures is the power of a sovereign republic, a monolith on which one can build the future. A modern young man should speak several languages.
There are 130 nationalities living in the republic. Moreover, each of them has a unique spiritual and material culture, its history, traditions and customs.
September 22, "The Day of Languages of the Peoples of Kazakhstan" is celebrated annually. Our President N. Nazarbayev stands for knowledge of several languages.
At the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages, an event called "Language is power" was held, dedicated to the day of celebrating the day of the languages of the peoples of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by 1st year students of the specialty "Foreign languages: two foreign languages". Responsible for the event - students of group FL 11 and curator of the group Isaev S.I.
Purpose: To educate a person who speaks several languages, to support students who speak Kazakh, Russian and English languages fluently. To acquaint students with the fact that every citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan has the right to use his native language, to freely choose the language of communication, upbringing, education and creativity.
This event was opened by the deputy dean of the faculty for educational work G.Abdimaylen and stressed the importance of this event for the people of Kazakhstan. It was noted that mastering Russian, Kazakh and English languages is the basis of prosperity and development of our country and invaluable wealth, as it was stressed in the annual messages of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The students of groups FL-11, FL-13, FL-15, FL-17, FL-12 prepared different slides and wall newspapers as a visibility. There were also songs in several languages, dances and performances.
The head of the department of Theory and Practice of Foreign languages, candidate of Philology Zh.A. Beisembaeva made a closing speech. Zh.A.Beysembaeva: Our President N.A. Nazarbayev pays great attention to education and science. His project "The Trinity of Languages" states: "Kazakhstan should be perceived all over the world as a highly educated country, whose population enjoys and must use three languages. This is the Kazakh language - the state language of our people, the Russian language as the language of interethnic communication, English is the language of successful integration in the global economy of development of our country. "
