On November 29, a gala evening was held at the Department of Kazakh Linguistics dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the title "Head of State - Honor of the Country." This festive event was attended by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Head of the Department of Kazakh Philology, Head of the Department of Chinese Philology, professors of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics, students of Shanghai University of Foreign Languages and students of the Faculty of Philology. During the evening, video slides were shown about the Head of State. Students of the FKT-21.23 groups N. Makhmet read Abay’s poem “Senbe Zhurtkha”, E. Erlan performed kuy, A. Saylaubay sang the song “Ushkonyr”, A. Toletaeva sang the song “Kazakhstan, alga”. The evening ended with the song "Tugan Jer".
