On March 13, 2018 senior teachers of the department of practical Kazakh language Akhmetova A., Baibolat. L. and associate professors Otelbay G., Ashenova A., Naimanbai A. held a cultural and cognitive event «National traditions and dishes - the charm of Nauryz». The scientific library of ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov and students of the groups Стр-12 and ГиК-12 also participated in organization. National clothes on visitors and guests beautified this event!
The holiday was solemnly opened by Altynbasova Dinara and Nurislam Narmukhmet, a student couple from the group Стр-12. They told about the traditions of the Kazakh people and their connections with Nauryz Bayram and read poetry. Competitions on Kazakh proverbs and national games were held, slides on Kazakh dastarkhan, and different ways of preparing national dishes were shown. The students of the specialty Mukanov Alisher, Mukhamedali Karimbayev, Baktiyar Bazhanov and Arlan Zhappasbayev actively participated in the game. Asylan Aldabergenov in the role of aksakal gave a meaningful blessing.
During the event, the employee of the scientific library Danen Zh.K. was honored to cut child’s lace, Nurislam Abishuly. Zhupar apay blessed the child and fulfilled all the duties concerning this tradition. Mother of the baby - Altynay Temirbaykyzy commended Zhupar Kenesbekkyzy, giving her different gifts. The ceremony "Tusaukeser" turned into "Shashu".
The musical part of the holiday was impressing too. Students sung songs and performed kuy. The dance «Saz otau» performed by the student of the group Гик-12 Duysenbaeva Zarina lifted spirits of the guests.
Nauryz Bayram turned into a rich dastarkhan with national dishes. The guests and students were treated to Nauryz kozhe and Bauyrsak.
