The education system in France: state and prospects

On 29 November, a foreign lecturer Alexis, Guillaume, Francois Penol (University of Grenoble Alba, France) held a seminar on the education system in France. Issues of the education system in France were widely discussed at the seminar. The system of French higher education is distinguished by the presence of two parallel curricula: the first is the usual European education (Licence-Master-Doctorat) at universities. The second is held in higher schools, as a feature of French prestigious education. The lecturer also dwelled on the differences and similarities between French and Kazakh pedagogy, describing their practical, theoretical and cultural components. Also, Mr. Francois Penyol shared his experience of teaching at ENU after L.N. Gumilyov.
