The International Scientific and Methodological Online Seminar at the Faculty of Philology has become a good tradition

On February 20, 2018, on the basis of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the Departments of Practical Kazakh Language and Foreign Languages ​​of the Philological Faculty held the IInd International Scientific and Methodological Online Seminar "Improving the Methods of Teaching Languages: An Exchange of Practice."

The online seminar was attended by such foreign universities as the Kazan Federal University (Russia), the Aegean University (Turkey), the Chuvash State University named after I.N. Ulyanov (Russia), the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after Boris Yeltsin (Kyrgyzstan), the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M.Akmulla (Russia).

A welcoming speech was delivered by the dean of the philological faculty of the ENU, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Sh.K. Zharkynbekova. As noted by Professor Sh. K. Zharkynbekova, linguistics issues are now in the vanguard of modern science and practice, and the experience of teaching world languages ​​accumulated by scientific schools in the field of methodology and methods of teaching languages ​​is of considerable interest for exchange and discussion by scientists and teachers from different countries.

The fact that the seminar is held on the eve of the International Mother Language Day on February 21 is an excellent platform for the exchange of experience noted in her speech the dean of the faculty of Russian and Chuvash philology and journalism of the Kazan State University, Doctor of Philology, Professor A.M. Ivanova. 

Professor of the Aegean University, D.Sc. M.Oner welcomed the participants of the seminar and wished everyone fruitful work.

Head of the BSPU Department of the Tatar language and literature, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor I.S. Nasipov congratulated his colleagues and noted that the holding of the seminar became a good tradition.

Further, the seminar was conducted by the head of the department of practical Kazakh language of ENU, Candidate of Philological Sciences, professor Kulmanov K.S. and associate professor of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication named after L.N. Tolstoy, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences K.S.Fatkhullova.

Interesting and innovative was the speech of Professor I.F. Alephirenko, who shared the research of modern trends in the science of language.

Leading teachers of the Kazan Federal University shared their experience in teaching languages ​​and literature. So, with the report "Tatars tele-um әdbiyaty ukytuchylary belemen kүtәrү tәjrbibsenenn" was made by G.R. Galiullina. Shayakhmetova L.Kh. revealed the features of teaching English with reliance on native (Tatar) language. Speech A.Kh. Ashrapova was devoted to teaching and testing of foreign languages ​​(for example, the certification of the Tatar language). 

Also, at the seminar reports were presented by the professor of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic Institute M.J.Tagayev "Some aspects of teaching thinking in a non-native language", professor of the Chuvash State University G.A. Ermakova on the topic "Spiritual and moral education of students in the philological disciplines" and the teacher of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University N.A. Mukimova on the subject "Tatar telen block-moduleuyu ukytu asha subject һәm meta-subject" "nyәizhәlәrә ires". 

In the report "Kazakistani zhoryari oyu oryndaryna kop tildik bilim beru zhiyesin yengizu muselei", the teacher of the foreign languages ​​department G.M.Musabaeva told about the research of the processes of polyglot education on the example of ENU named after L.N.Gumilyov.

At the end of the seminar, the final speech was delivered by the director of the Higher School of Tatar Linguistics and Turkology at IFIC KFU, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor A.Sh. Yusupova, who wished the participants of the seminar creative successes and invited to further cooperation at the international level.
