18th of November 2022 at Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University a guest lecture on the topic "Innovative methods of teaching a foreign language" was held by candidate of pedagogical sciences, acting Associate Professor Zhainash Dzhumakhmetovna Nurzhanova of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The lecture was attended by 3rd and 4th year students of the educational program 6B01703-Foreign language: two foreign languages, master students of the educational program 7M01703-Foreign languages and intercultural communication and teachers. During the lecture, new technologies in the process of teaching a foreign language were shown and their effectiveness was evaluated. Examples and the effectiveness of creating and implementing innovative methods of teaching languages were demonstrated. In addition, such multimedia technologies as kahoot.it., padlet., zunal., google and others were used, teaching methods and learning models were demonstrated through portals and multimedia programs.
