On December 12, 2019, the Department of Chinese Philology held a festive evening on the theme "Ar-namysym, kasiretim, maktanyshym", dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev. The event was attended by students of 1-4 courses. It was attended by Dean of the faculty of Philology Beysenbay Ardak Bakhytuly, Deputy Dean for work with students Gabdrakhman Tolegen sagynbekovich, head of the Department of Kazakh language and literature Turysbek R. S., head of the Department of foreign language Zhanna Alibievna, head of the Department of Chinese language Akbarkan Dauletali and teachers of the Department.
The festive evening was opened by dancing girls. Then the celebration continued with the performance of Abay's poems by students in Kazakh and Chinese. A small concert was decorated with thematic productions. Students of 1-2 courses showed three performances from year to year of Abay Kunanbayev. The performance was replenished with Abay's poems, edification words. Students of 3-4 courses showed an excerpt from the December events of 1986 in the form of a small performance dedicated to the Independence Day. The guests of the evening viewing the revelation felt as much as possible.
And, of course, there were songs in the form of a concert. The 1st year student sang the song "Kozimnin karasy" in the Kazakh language, and the 3rd year students performed this wonderful song in Chinese. The concert with such unique numbers evoked respect for history and love for the Motherland, both among the participants of the evening and among the students.
