Educational event "A look into the future: modernization of public consciousness. Transition of the State language to Latin"

    On February 22, 2019 at 15.00 in 821 room (ULK) teachers  of foreign languages department of the philological faculty  Dusengalieva A. A., Vatutina Z. P., Duishonalieva B. T., Kultanova Z. M. organized an educational event in the form of a round table on the theme "Looking to the future: the modernization of the public consciousness. The transition of the state language to the Latin alphabet". The purpose of the round table was to study the features of communication in the modern world, which are important for the scientific and educational process in the modern technological environment and in the XXI century, as well as to promote the modernization of the language and its entry into the family of world Latin languages.

    Speakers gave a significant information about the importance of the transition to the Latin alphabet and formed public opinion.  One of the topical issues that are currently becoming the main problem of our country is the change of our alphabet, that is, breaking the established tradition and the transition from Cyrillic to Latin. Opinions were voiced about the transition to the Latin alphabet from the Cyrillic alphabet, currently in force since the proclamation of independence by the people of Kazakhstan.  At the beginning the floor was given to the associate Professor of the Department of theory and methodology of foreign language training, faculty of foreign languages, Karaganda state University named after  Buketov Kagazbaev Zhanbyrbai Akhmetovich.  The following participants were invited: associate Professor of the Kazakh language of Philology, doctor of Philology, Professor Bekzhan Abdualievich; Phd, associate Professor Kenzhalin Kuanyshbek Karimovich. During the round table the participants were offered to do test questions and determined their level. The participants exchanged views on the importance of the transition to the Latin alphabet. The head of state in the article "A guide to the future: modernization of public consciousness "said: "I want the people of Kazakhstan to understand two provisions that have never changed. The first is the national code, without the preservation of national culture there will be no modernization. Second , in order to move forward, it is necessary to abandon the critical points of the past that hinder the development of the nation."

    The event was held at a high level and appreciated by the participants and invited guests. At the end of the event, the guest  Kagazbaev Zhanbyrbai Akhmetovich shared their experiences with students and highly appreciated the event.
