March 30, 2020 a reporting conference was held on the passage of research practice of doctoral students 2 years of study at the Department of Foreign Philology. The research practice of doctoral students took place from February 10 to March 21, 2020. The reporting conference was held using the Zoom online platform.
The results of the practice were presented in the form of presentations with subsequent reports. The defense of the reports was chaired by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Head of the Department of Foreign Philology - Bizhkenova A.E.
The members of the commission accepted the defense of the reports: Bulatbaeva K.N. - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor of the Department of Foreign Philology; Beisembaeva G.Z. – PhD; Anafinova M.L. - Associate Professor, Department of Foreign Philology.
To protect research practice, doctoral students used a presentation with reporting information on events attended and work done with photos.
During the internship, doctoral students developed a plan on the topic together with the supervisor; scientific literature, articles, dissertations, and abstracts on the topic of scientific work were collected. A database of scientific information was compiled from the National Academic Library of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan, the library of the Eurasian National University and databases of foreign electronic resources in these libraries (EBS Lar, e-Library, EBS IPRbooks). During the practice, doctoral students participated in international conferences and published articles in domestic and foreign journals.
After the doctorate’s presentation, the members of the commission announced the success of the research practice of 2-year doctoral students.
