Scientific-methodical seminar with specialists from the Center for Educational Programs of “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” JSC

October 4, 2018 at 15.00 h. At the Faculty of Philology of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov In the framework of cooperation and continuity of training, passed a scientific and methodological seminar with specialists from the Center for Educational Programs of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools JSC to discuss and implement the updated curricula. The Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Doctor of Philology, Professor Zharkynbekova Sh.K. opened the seminar. The seminar was attended by 52 teachers of the Faculty of Philology and specialists of the Center for Educational Programs of JSC Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools masters in education Kulmagambetova A.Sh., Abuov Z.S., Kozhamkulova G.Ye., Aytbaeva A.D., Kalmenov S. U., Absatova MB, Esenalieva S.S. 

The work took place in three sections: “Features of the content of the updated curriculum for secondary schools in the subject“ English ”. The second section "features of the curriculum" Russian language "," Russian literature "on the updated content of education. The third section «Жаңартылған білім беру мазмұны аясында «Қазақ тілі», «Қазақ әдебиеті» 

In the English section, the speaker Aytbayeva Angela Davydovna revealed the goals and objectives of the course of teaching a foreign language, said that the hours in the school of teaching a foreign language had increased. She revealed the specifics of teaching English at school: in what context and how should we talk, read, listen and write. Subjects of classes and what knowledge students get at the end.

In the section on teaching Russian language and literature, the speaker Kuzhamkulova Gulmira Esenbekovna revealed new approaches in teaching Russian language and literature at school. Emphasis was placed on the humanization of learning, motivation of students. Much attention has been paid to the essay genre. How modern schoolchildren write essays and on what topics. Grading assignments by grade, evaluation, and novelties of educational and methodical literature were also the subject of discussion. 

In the section of the Kazakh language and literature, the speaker Kulmagambetova Akslu Shinbulatovna presented the updated curriculum on the Kazakh language and literature. She noted that the number of hours in the Kazakh language at school increased, she presented creative and motivational tasks, innovative methods of teaching the Kazakh language and literature at school. 

In conclusion Absatova M.B., Esenalieva S.S. explained the features of the assessment of language subjects in the framework of the updated content of education.
