International scientific and practical conference "Actual problems of Kazakh linguistic folkloristics"

     Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the Philological Faculty of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov organized an international scientific and practical conference on theme "Actual problems of Kazakh linguistic folkloristics" on 26th September, 2019. The conference was funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018-2020, IRN AR05134026 "Study of the Kazakh folklore genre’s language".

     The purpose of the conference is to identify the urgent problems of modern Kazakh linguistic folklore, to consider ways to solve them, as well as to assess the philological and historical aspects of the “Spiritual Revival”. The conference was devoted to the philological aspects of "Spiritual Revival", areas of folklore research and the study of folklore.

     During the scientific conference, the moderator, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Zhakypov Zhantas Altayevich shared his views on the current and future of Kazakh linguistic folklore, dean of the Faculty of Philology Beisenbay A.B. emphasized the need for research in this area, also highlighted the importance of the role of the nation in the formation of spiritual values. Conference participants presented their scientific findings on a wide range of folklore genres based on linguistic research. The conference featured articles from Turkey, China and Russia, which resulted in a compilation of conference materials. In total, 35 articles were accepted at the conference, including 14 articles of foreign scientists were published.
