On October 15, 2018 the students of “5B020700 - Translation Studies” Specialty participated in the master-class on the subject: "Interpreters’ survival skills course" conducted by Olzhas Galymzhan, the director of “KazConference” Translation Agency, an interpreter (Working languages: Kazakh, Russian, English).
Olzhas provided practical advice to future interpreters and shared his experience in the field of simultaneous translation. In his speech he also referred to the following matters:

• Ethics of the interpretation profession (before - during - after)
• Translation pricing
• Bridging the Language Barrier
• Online services
The meeting inspired and stimulated the students to a successful study and life.
